Four Axis Wire EDM Module integrates with the SmartCAM base package toeasily create 4-axis EDM part programs.Four Axis Wire EDM module permits the creation of both x,y and u,vprofiles, simply by entering the dimensional part data for each level.The easy-to-use start, link, and wait commands associate the profileswith one another, regardless of their individual complexity. BecauseSmartCAM and Four Axis Wire EDM gives users the flexibility to createwire path as desired, they avoid the limitations imposed by systems thatcan only associate profiles with the same number of elements.Wire path verification is given graphically to ensure that the wire iscutting exactly as desired. This visual inspection opportunity helps toidentify production design problems or dimensional discrepancies beforethey create costly production errors.When integrated with Point Control's CAM Connection, the profiles can betaken directly from a CAD system. CAM Connection converts CAD systemdrawings into SmartCAM tool path data to be modified, verified, and codedwith Four Axis Wire EDM.
